Some Fanart

As summer draws to a close, I thought I'd finish it with some fanart. I played "off" as the schoolyear ended in May and loved it a lot, and the wonderful surreal atmosphere gives me an excuse to draw some wacky things.

I always thought Sugar was pretty cute.

We were supposed to pick any cartoon style as long as it was on TV. I picked Sailor Moon "Because it would be funny". The only funny thing was me trying to fit big eyes on tiny heads.

Another turn around! This time in UPA style. I really like this style, but it's really hard to replicate!

Concepts...

Two concepts for my screen printing class. The class liked the top one more, so that's probably going to be the one I print. The gradient is pretty gaudy, I know, but it's just substituting for the split-filter technique we'll be using in class!

I really like the design of the second one though, so I'll hang onto it for later.
